FAQ
Are my recordings and input data used to train AI models?
Kawaii REC does not use your recordings or input data to train AI models. If you authorize an external AI integration through MCP or similar tools, we provide the connected service with data within the scope you have authorized. How that service stores data and uses it for training is governed by its own terms and settings.
Do I need to install anything?
Not for the web app. Open it in a supported browser to record, edit and export. Native Effects Rack installers are available on its dedicated page.
Can I export on the free plan?
Yes. The free plan includes WAV and MP3 export, with up to three tracks in total, including the backing track.
Can I use pitch and rhythm correction for free?
Pitch correction is free through October 31, 2026. Timing correction—automatic alignment, moving notes horizontally and adjusting note lengths—requires paid access. Both are supported on desktop.
Do I need to log in to save?
You can save in your browser without signing in. Saving to and loading from the cloud requires Google sign-in.
How long is free-account data kept?
After 12 months without a login, cloud audio, projects, account information and related data are deleted. Keep important audio on your own device too.
How much is Effects Rack FULL?
The regular price is US$70. From September, annual and lifetime users can buy it for US$50. VST3/AU versions are included, with the same features as the web version and a different interface.
