- Costs other than the selling price
- Customers bear communication and other costs required for internet access. Bank transfer, convenience-store payment and other payment methods may incur transfer, processing or other fees set by the financial institution or payment provider.
- Payment methods
- Stripe: credit card. KOMOJU: credit/debit cards, PayPal, convenience-store payment, Pay-easy, bank transfer, Rakuten Pay, buy now pay later (Paidy), and smartphone payments (PayPay and Merpay).
- Receipts and qualified invoices
- Receipts can be issued. However, the Company is not a registered qualified invoice issuer, so no qualified invoice issuer registration number is included, and issued documents do not constitute qualified invoices under Japan's invoice system.
- Payment timing and deadlines
- One-time-purchase plans and tips paid through Stripe are charged in full at purchase. Monthly and annual plans are charged upon subscription and automatically at each subsequent contract renewal. For special codes purchased through KOMOJU, pay by the deadline displayed for the selected payment method. Credit cards and similar methods are paid during checkout; prepayment methods such as convenience-store payment, Pay-easy and bank transfer must be paid by the specified deadline. Orders may expire after the deadline.
- Timing of service and special-code delivery
- For Stripe payments, paid features are provided immediately after payment is completed. For KOMOJU purchases, a single-use special code is issued on the purchase-history screen after payment is confirmed. Confirmation may take time depending on the payment method. Effects Rack FULL includes VST3/AU versions with the same functionality as the Web version (with a different UI). The installer is available free of charge, but exporting is unavailable until a license is applied.
- Update guarantee for one-time purchases
- The purchased version may be used perpetually. For two years from purchase (or application to the account for special codes), users may access the latest updates provided by the Company as Kawaii REC at no additional charge. If paid major updates are offered after that period, eligible one-time-purchase users may buy them at a 20% discount from the regular selling price.
- Handling of special codes
- Each special code may be applied once to one Kawaii REC account. Purchasers may use it themselves or gift it to a third party. Redeemed codes cannot be transferred, and codes will not be reissued due to loss, disclosure or third-party use, except where the Company is responsible.
- Tips
- Tips are voluntary support for the continued individual development and operation of Kawaii REC. They do not provide additional features, unlock paid plans, or entitle users to gifts or any other consideration.
- Returns and refunds
- Because this is a digital service, we do not accept returns or refunds for customer-related reasons after service provision begins or a special code is issued. This does not apply where required by law or where the Company is responsible. Codes are not issued for nonpayment, cancellation, expiration, suspected fraud or similar situations, and codes corresponding to refunded transactions may be deactivated.
- Canceling subscriptions
- Monthly and annual plans may be canceled at any time. Paid features remain available until the end of the contract period already paid for. If canceled before the next renewal date, no fees are charged for subsequent periods.
- System requirements
- Web version: a modern browser such as the latest Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Safari. Microphone recording requires a supported browser and permission to use the microphone.

Monthly plans are available only through Stripe and renew automatically. Annual plans renew automatically with Stripe; KOMOJU and PayPal offer prepaid one-year codes without automatic renewal. Redeem purchased codes in your account. Lifetime, Pro and Effects Rack FULL purchases are also available.
New purchases in Japanese use JPY with Stripe, KOMOJU or PayPal. Other languages use USD with Stripe or PayPal. Existing subscription prices and currencies remain unchanged.
Kawaii REC Pro includes Rack FULL. Rack is sold separately from standard Kawaii REC plans.
